Sizing guide
An excellent evergreen climbing species.  Highly regarded by online plants because of its hardy nature and unique self attaching tendrils.  Ficus pumila can be used as screen climber against brick walls, garages etc.  Fast growing once established,  It can be planted in narrow garden beds and a year or so later will have covered a large fence area.  The tentrills on the foliage ends mean trellis is not required.
The plant uses adhesive aerial rootlets to attach itself to surfaces. These rootlets excrete a sticky substance that helps the vine adhere to walls, trees, or other structures. With time, the plant can form a dense mat of foliage that covers the supporting surface completely.
Ficus pumila is known for its rapid growth rate. Once it establishes itself and finds suitable support, it can grow several feet per year. This makes it an excellent choice for quickly covering unsightly walls or creating a green backdrop.
Superb lime-green foliage accentuates the brick work.  Common in older English style plantings along side English box, trachelospernum and gardenia
Best planted in full sun, or partial shade.  Will benefit from feeding twice per year with a complete plant food and liquid fertilizer.
