Fagus sylvatica, commonly known as Copper Beech, is a deciduous tree valued for its attractive copper-colored foliage. It grows up to 15mt tall and prefers well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Plant it at the same depth as the container, water regularly, and mulch to retain moisture. Prune in late winter to maintain its shape. It is tolerant of different soil types but thrives in slightly acidic soil. Fertilize in spring with a balanced fertilizer. Protect young trees from harsh winds. Enjoy the stunning copper leaves that turn deep purple in autumn, providing a dramatic landscape feature.
