Raspberry ‘Heritage’ is a vigorous, everbearing variety prized for its sweet, medium to large red fruit and extended harvest from late summer into autumn. It grows as a deciduous cane with upright, arching stems reaching about 1.5–2 metres tall. The berries are excellent for fresh eating, jams, and desserts.

In Australia, Heritage raspberries thrive in cool to temperate climates, performing best in southern regions including Melbourne, Adelaide, and the cooler tablelands. They prefer full sun and rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Mulching helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.

Plant canes in winter while dormant, spacing them around 60 cm apart in rows. Support with a trellis or wire system for airflow and easy picking. Prune old canes after fruiting and reduce overcrowding to maintain plant vigour. Fertilise in early spring with a balanced organic blend.
