The Cut Leaf Birch is slender enough to be included in a small garden without appearing too dominant but is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups.

At maturity expect Cut leaf birch to reach 12mt tall and 5-6mt wide.  Grows well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. Can benefit from an annual application of complete fertilizer in Spring. Water moderately during first summer after planting.  Then during exceptionally dry periods once established.
