Rhododendron

Rhododendrons are a large genus of flowering plants within the family Ericaceae. They are known for their stunning, showy flowers and attractive evergreen foliage. Rhododendrons encompass a wide range of species and cultivars, offering a diverse array of colors, sizes, and growth habits. There are over 1,000 species of rhododendrons, with various hybrids and cultivars developed for ornamental purposes. Typically evergreen shrubs, although some species are deciduous. They have broad, leathery leaves that are often glossy and dark green. The flowers are the main attraction, varying in color from white and pink to red, purple, and even yellow. The flowers can be trumpet-shaped, bell-shaped, or in clusters, depending on the species.
