Pot Size: 30cm

Corymbia ficifolia ‘Precious Pearl’ is a compact flowering gum renowned for its profuse pale pink blossoms, blooming in mid to late summer. This striking small tree has a rounded crown, dark green foliage, and attractive, rough bark. Its showy flowers attract birds, bees, and butterflies, making it ideal for wildlife-friendly gardens across many parts of Australia.

Growing to approximately 4–6 metres high and 3–4 metres wide, Precious Pearl thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established and suited to coastal gardens, urban landscapes, and nature strips. It performs well in both sandy and loamy soils and benefits from occasional deep watering during dry spells.

In Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and other warm temperate areas, this cultivar grows well with minimal maintenance. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy form. Apply mulch to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds, and fertilise in spring with a native-specific fertiliser.

Excellent companion plants include Grevillea ‘Peaches and Cream’, Westringia fruticosa, Lomandra Tanika®, and Leptospermum ‘Pink Cascade’. These plants share similar environmental preferences and enhance the overall colour, texture, and ecological value of Australian gardens.
