Dianella Emerald Fountain - An ornamental flax lily, Emerald Fountain flowers in spring, with a great showing of blue and yellow, this new variety of plant is a winner in landscaped gardens. Growing about half a meter high and wide, Emerald Arch has been bred tough, is frost-hardy and grows well in full shade or full sun except in QLD.

Dianella ‘Emerald Fountain’ is a compact, clumping native grass-like plant with glossy green strappy foliage and small blue flowers followed by decorative purple berries. It grows to around 60 cm high and wide, creating a lush, tidy mound perfect for borders and mass planting.

In Australia, it thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a variety of well-draining soils. It’s drought and frost hardy once established, making it ideal for low-maintenance gardens across most climates including Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
