Trees Evergreen

For larger suburban gardens and landscapes, nothing beats a stately evergreen tree, This category includes all trees over 5mt at maturity.  

Trees provide year round protection for your backyard, providing shade from the scorching summer sun, and sheltering other plants in the garden from intense winds and wintry conditions. Many have contrasting bark and foliage, such as the Melaleuca, armillaris, and Agonis after dark and there are also beautiful flowering dwarf Gum trees and Native Frangipani. 

Many are excellent screening/privacy plants such as the Syzygium backyard bliss or Waterhousia Weeping Lilly Pilly,  whilst we also have trees for specimen planting such as Corymbia baby orange and other Eucalyptus species. 

Most Evergreen Tree benefit from thick mulch to maintain root and soil moisture.  At planting, it is also a good idea to stake your tree.  This keeps them nice and straight and stable in the soil.
