Abies Mountain Fir

Abies Lasiocarpa Glauca Compacta, Mountain Fir, This is a dwarf conifer that will put on 2” of new growth per year until it reaches a maximum height of 6’ after 10 years of growth. It will form a slightly rounded to a conical shape with age. The needle growth is soft to the touch.

The bark has a distinctive gray-white color.
Due to its slow growth rate this cultivar could be used for bonsai.
