Consider under planting with cotyledon silver waves, as this fine specimen tree looks great when planted against complementary foliage colours.

Best grown in moist, acidic, sandy or rocky, well-drained loams in full sun to part shade, however it should be noted, that: Best foliage colour is achieved in full sun. Leaves turn orange and red in autumn. Newly formed bark goes from a black colour to a creamy white as it matures.
